We discourage one-time service requests and can instead recommend you to our other acquaintances who don’t mind one-night st…well, that’s none of our business.
However, if you are interested in getting to experience our services on a more frequent basis, you’ll give us the opportunity to learn how to make your home better organized, cozier, and yes, cleaner to your soul’s expectations.
Our business model is slightly different from other residential cleaning services you may be familiar with. After you’ve browsed our showcase and read other client testimonials, we invite you to fill out our request form to get a better understanding of your cleanliness needs and consider which subscription bundle might be most ideal for your home.
After that first service visit, the owner of the card on file has 48 hours to request their initial investment back, if not completely satisfied.

pricing?
Our request form is a simple calculator based on how much you feel needs cleaning. The estimate is just that—an estimate. Once we can agree on a subscription bundle, you will be billed up-front and for the frequency you requested.
forms of payment?
We accept all major credit cards. You will receive a payment link that we require you to pay before we enter your home. Then you have 48 hours to assure that you’re completely satisfied, or you may request a refund.
We don’t store any credit card information ourselves; it’s all done through an industry leading payment processor called Stripe, which has some serious security encryptions for your peace of mind.
We don’t accept cash payments, but cash tips are welcomed.
break & loss policy?
All incidents are handled on a case-by-case basis. If an unfortunate incident does occur, please notify us at support@chicashine.com and provide as much evidence as possible. We will be prompt to help you resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
unit amenity requirements?
To do our job to the best of our ability, our minimal requirements are that you have fully functioning running water and electricity. Please notify us ahead of time if your home is experiencing these issues so we may reschedule without charging you a cancellation fee per our policy.
how many cleaners?
We may send up to three cleaning associates, depending on the square footage of the space required to service. If you prefer to have fewer than what we anticipate, we’ll accommodate it, but please note that it will affect our slot-estimate to complete the service session.
how will cleaning associates enter?
We will coordinate with you or someone in your home and will notify you when we enter and leave the premises.
can it be the same cleaning associate each time?
We completely understand the need to limit the number of new faces that show up at your doorstep to provide our service, and we will honor the same associate(s) as best we can, but do keep in mind that we vet our associates as thoroughly as legally possible.
can you clean my front or backyard?
No. We’re indoor cats and cover our shoes before entering your home so we can’t go in and out, which will invite outside dirt in.
We also only clean the inside of windows.
standard vs deep clean?
Our first visit will be a deep clean and it’s a one-time fee that will be higher than the subsequent cleaning sessions to bring the state of your home to a standard we may maintain.
what won't you do/clean?
We won’t come into contact with hazardous waste, which includes, but is not limited to, fecal matter, blood, and other bodily fluids.
We don’t do hoarding cleanings, where the client dictates what stays or gets removed. Please have these items chosen for removal ahead of our arrival.
We don’t discard objects that require waste removal containers larger than an industry-grade trash bag.
And finally, we don’t move heavy appliances, big furniture, or climb ladders to reach high ceilings due to our liability policy, but you’re welcome to move them ahead of the cleaning associates’ arrival.
We do provide a small, 3-step ladder.
what is you satisfaction guarantee?
Our cleaning associates will do an initial and final walkthrough with the host to make sure that they’re satisfied with the service.
In the rare event that you missed something or weren’t present during the cleaning session, you’ll have 48 hours to contact us to allow for the opportunity to rectify the issue.
do you have all supplies?
Yes, we do.
In the event that you require that we use your home products, we’ll oblige.
do you do dishes or laundry?
We can, according to our initial agreement.
However, please remove or point out delicate fabrics, provide the laundry detergent, and both washer/dryer must be inside the unit that is being cleaned.
cancellation & reschedule policy?
When you request your first cleaning session and subscription bundle, our associates commit to that schedule while we work with you to establish an understanding of how to enter the premises if you’re not present.
And if a sudden cancellation does occur, your card still gets charged, but credited for a future, mutually agreeable date.
